Another imaging session i wasen't expecting.

It was supposed to be clouded out all night with a bad jet stream pushing through but it cleared to crisp skies. More importantly the front had calmed the jet stream behind it considerably. I was even able to image at f/48 (4 shots) with my imagemate and get good resolve. I continued imaging until it got too light and hazy.

Hi all,

Last week I've tried to image Mercury again. It has been a while, but now that the unknown side has been charted by the Messenger, it offers the oppurtunity to check whether details on de planet are real or not.

I changed a few settings in regi and manually deleted all frames that were not a spot on fit after alignment. Changed my editing method a little also. More happy with the detail, colours & hues in this shot.

127 mak, 3x Televue barlow, f/36, DBK @30fps.
