G'day from Australia

Hello.
My name is Martin Pugh, an amateur astrophotographer of West Midlands origin, now living in rural New South Wales, Australia. I have recently retired from the Navy after 39 years of service and now pursing my retirement goal of building a large observatory; something I have been planning for about 5 years. I started out in astrophotography in 2000, but was completely unproductive for the following 5 years until I emigrated to Australia. You do not have to go very far to find very dark skies here and of course the southern hemisphere as so much to offer by way of imaging targets. My main interest is deep sky imaging, but I have done some planetary in the past and I am also doing occasional widefield work now.
If you have time, check out my website:
www.martinpughastrophotography.space
. Meanwhile, I will be checking out the imaging forums regularly and contributing where I can.
clear skies

Hi Martin and a warm welcome to UKAI. Always nice to have a bit of a window onto some of the southern hemisphere objects and you have some stunning images in your portfolio.
Please do keep them coming.
