M33 IC1805 - test images
« on: 22:32:11, 13 November, 2017 »
I've been battling issues with back focus, getting to grips with CCD processing and introducing autofocus for the past couple of months without getting very far. Finally pulled it all together last night, thanks to lots of help from various forum members and suppliers.

Got autofocus working nicely last night, so rewarding, thought I'd share my test images. They need a lot more integration, and better framing of IC1805, but I wanted to try RGB (M33) and have a go at HA/OIII with the AF.

M33 is 3x10mins each RGB, IC1805 is 2x20mins each HA/OIII - so WIP.

Now it all seems to be working I'm aiming to focus on getting maybe 9-10 hours on IC1805.

Thats a corking M33 Mid. Autofocus makes the world of difference to imaging once you get it singing.
