It's looking good so far.

All we need are good skies-day and night.

I'll be there Monday to Monday (maybe only to Sunday if Sunday night is going to be rubbish).  Smallish scopes this year, 4" and 65 mm, both for imaging.  Always think about bringing my 10" RC but it needs an awful lot of balance weight on my 'star party' EQ6, and is a bit bouncy unless the weather is flat calm.  So to make life easy...   ;)

Pitch 313, top of Red field.

Cheers,

Peter.

We'll be on our usual yellow 149 in the silver motorhome. I'm bringing a Lightwave 60mm to use with my Atik 320e colour on an ieq30 Pro. I'm trying the scope out with a view to setting up a dual rig at home to double my imaging time.
I also want to get some help with getting Maxim Dl to do autofocus for me! I've been trying on and off for some time! I usually give up when it misses focus again and revert to the manual version.
Any volunteers?
Anne
PS should have said were there Monday to Monday.

As I say above, I'm there Monday to Monday.  and will be happy to try and help with autofocus

Cheers,

Peter.

Thanks Peter. I'm hoping to get a focus motor fitted on my Lightwave on the way, if I don't manage it, i need help with what I've got to put in the Ascom bit for the mount hub pro and what goes in Maxim.

Good luck with the weather. The forecast doesn't look good for earlier in the week but is more promising towards the weekend. I'm booked from Thursday but may come sooner if there is a chance of a clear sky.

Is the booking  open to the pitch you have,  IE book the same pitch again for next year ?

Fingers crossed for you and see you Weds lunchtime. Forecast is not looking too hopeful this side of Friday so we might have to make a dent in the bottle of Sailor Jerry :-)

Rog

This is where the confusion came in ladt year....

The official line then was, you can book ANY pitch for next year when you checkin for this year....  But you are not allowed to book for anyone else but you.

Might want to check again.....

As soon as you arrive. You can reserve your pitch for next year. Assuming it hasn't gone. I think the organisation needs to receive introduce bookings by phone. For the regulars.
If we hadn't arrived yesterday. We would probably have lost this pitch.

Any way. Be that as it may. The skies we're clear earlier. And I  had some of the best views of Mercury ever. Using the G11 and AA SW 115EDT.
