Hi all

finally some great activity on the Sun and good weather and seeing, I got this lucky shot on Saturday morning with a lovely composition of the new spot and some big prominences with nice details. Used a different workflow in beta Astrostakkert and loads of dithering/drizzling, original image is 5800pixels wide, good for another print on my store!

I have to say Solar is always such an interesting and easy activity to break sometimes from the more intensive and demanding night time work :)

Thanks guys!

Yes I actually decided that my favourite processing is keeping the surface as it is and instead if I get nice prominences use the negative version of them. I think the 'positive' is good as well, but to add some variety is nice to combine different things, and somehow prominences look to me better inverted colours.

I will never say thank you enough to Chris Bailey who, among many other things, gave me the right indications to make a proper workflow for Solar with Firecapture/Astrostakkert/PixInsight!
