10/10   Terry Platt @ SX

My lodestar usb connection took a knock & even though I changed different leads I wasn't getting power to it.

Emailed SX asking for advice & got  email back from Terry saying " Post it to my home address & I'll have a look"     Posted yesterday,  Email from Terry today asking for return address.

He is very good indeed.

My 814 failed a while back. Sent it recorded to him on Wednesday and got it back again on Friday. New main board, firmware update and totally cleaned and re-aligned.

That's great and good to know...honestly since I got my Lodestar I wondered why I ever waited or even spent any time on anything else...since I got it I just forgot about guiding as a 'something', it just happens time after time without any problem.

Obviously thanks to UKAI members for brainwashing me about the fact that once you get a lodestar, as long as everything is well tight and stable guiding just happens.
