Sh2=235,232 & 231
« on: 11:17:41, 18 November, 2017 »
Forecast WAS for very clear skies last night but I'm not sure.    Hampered with clouds for the first couple of hours but then a decent spell after that.  Just after the last sub was downloading the clouds came back so I called it a night after thet.

I managed to get 16x900 on this target  Sh2-235 ( Brighter object )  Sh2-231 (small object on left ) & Sh2-232 (Larger object)    Sh2-233 is just out of frame.

SX694 on the W/O 110mm triplet @ f5.6

Nicely done. 232 is pretty faint so benefits from lots of long subs.

That is very nice Roger.

Over here. We had a crazy weather forecast. BBC showed clear all night. But it wasn't to be.
I expect the clouds will once again part, when the Moon is big and bright.

For a moment I had a deja vu experience, and quickly checked my images to see if I had this.  But no, my image is of Sh2-254 and associated nebulae, taken in 2014.  So yet another target to add to my ever growing list of 'Must do'.

Very niceRog, colour next?

Cheers,

Peter.
