NGC7822 AKA Cederblad 214 & SH2-171
« on: 16:23:37, 30 August, 2017 »
I haven't done much imaging for a while, due to despondency over my home location, where the FOV is getting smaller due to trees growing, and the usual LP, but 3 of us did our own mini Astro camp in East Sussex this last weekend.

Part of a larger complex
Dual Rig
Ha 2 x 900 + 9 x 600 William Optics Zenithstar 71 & Atik 314L
Ha 6 x 600 ED80 + Atik 460EX
Ha total 3 hours
Oiii 8 x 300 Binned ED80 & Atik460EX
Sii 7 x 300 Binned ED80 & Atik460EX
Total of all filters 4 1/4 hours
HEQ5

Mount: NEQ6 (on pier), HEQ5 (for astrocamps),  Telescopes: SW ED120 Pro and SW Evostar ED80 pro, WO ZS71 APO, Cameras: Modified Canon EOS 450D, Atik 460EX, Atik314, DMK21, DBK, Dual rig options. Observatory: SkyPOD & PZT

That's a beauty Carole,

Don't give up. I know what it's like to suffer LP and trees.

Roll on ESP Kelling next month.

My local group used to go every month (weather permitting), but lately there's been only me and two others.  The main group having moved house to dark locations, or too busy at work etc.
