Seasonal imaging Guide
« on: 11:18:44, 07 April, 2013 »
All,
I have compiled a list of objects to help you know what’s up there.  This list is based on the excellent book “The 100 best astrophotography objects” by Ruben Kier, & can be found on Ebay or Amazon.

The list has been sorted into seasons to assist you but objects back & forth by a couple of months can still be imaged at that particular time,  IE: M13 is listed as a summer object but can still be imaged in the Spring if you are up late enough, or in the Autumn if you have clear western skies.
The images you see are for reference only & some may need to be looked at online for a higher resolution  & colour, They also have been imaged using a big variety of telescopes & cameras, so a FOV set up in your planetary software, for your imaging setup will help to indicate if it fits onto your CCD or not.
All images seen have been taken by UKAI members, sorry I cannot name then all but a BIG thanks goes out to you lot for your input to help me get this list together.

Often refer to this, thanks for doing it.

Would also be useful to know which ones are suitable for NB or if there is any Ha worth taking if you ever get the time Roger.

Thanks Carole

That would be great if you can as with the cloud cover and moon we do not get many chances to image anything these sats!
