Title: OK you guys win - PI does the job nicely
Post by: Dave Smith on 14:07:39, 30 April, 2018
I have tried to get a still image from my recent ISS transit video/animation using Photoshop which I simply could not get right. However following a suggestion made to me I had a look at PI and there was a suitable command and hey presto an image. This is the first time PI has succeeded where PS has failed for me.

Many thanks Chris and Phil. Some one suggested to me to use a minimum pixel stack. I had no idea what that meant and had a good look in Registax and AutoStakert and Photoshop and could find nothing like it. I had tried the darken blend in photoshop without success - it sort of worked. It then occurred to me that it may be in PI - bingo it worked at first attempt.
