but after many retries, it let me in.

Im going to have words with my boss now

Right i've managed to join - and I'll have the seti software running on monday as well...
Still  a fair way from the 250,000 units needed to be noticed :)

Shows how fast the beast now computes these units.  Using the command line version I'm down to 2 hours 30 minutes per unit :)

Each line is one complete graph.  This is the same on all 8 CPUs :)  (one instance per CPU)

Rob - seems to depend a lot (not too surprisingly) on how much use the PC is getting at the time.  My 1600 Duron stand-in for my main PC does about one every 8 hours as long as that's all it's doing, 10 or 12 hours if I'm doing other stuff.  Have to switch it off to use Registax...  Must get the new PSU sorted.

Finally got the new laptop !

So I'm running seti again - this machine is pretty quick

3hrs 30min per unit :)
