Daniel, excellent tutorial for those of us starting out  :smokin:.

No chance of imaging anything here to get some decent subs to practice on but I have tried your workflow on some older subs and what a difference from what I usually get.

Wow, thanks guys for al the encouragement.  Leigh, I got your pm, yes, by all means, a pdf would be great!  When you guys get done putting it on the site, can you post a link here?  I'll go ahead and make this thread a stickie as well.

 Cool, I'm glad it's already helping.  :)

inDesign is a design and page layout software (similar to the pile or carp that is Quark XPress!) Its Part of adobes Creative suite (CS)

D'oh, I shoulda known that one.  Leigh's got a pdf made, do you want to pm him and see if you can run his version through?

Btw, any edits you guys want to make is fine by me, as long as the info stays the same.  I'm not the world's greatest writer you know.  ;)

Hi Eddie,
All I've done is cut and paste from the page into a word doc then converted it to a pdf, if you like I can send the files to you if you want to run them through indesign?

Edit: The file is now available in the downloads section - http://ukastroimaging.co.uk/index.php?ind=downloads&op=entry_view&iden=4
Eddie, if you still want to run it through your software please feel free.

Excellent article Daniel - the tip about a flat with an LPR filter correcting the colour balance is worth much Karma on it's own!

'Download failed' when I try to get it form the downloads area though.

Yeah, download failed from the downloads section but worked from the 4shared link.  I'll ask Rob to look into it.
