Sorry I should have been clearer, I can't get what Daniel was saying without the images, are they stored elsewhere?

Images uploaded and reinserted.
Daniel, they're just added to the end of each post, feel free to move them around in the posts as you see fit.

Leigh, thanks a bunch for this, they look fine where they are.  I'll remind myself when I get home to post the pdf to my google docs account and share the link here, that may be the better way to go.  I keep meaning to revise this also, but never gotten around to it.  Seems there are other places that have info as good or better than my old outdated stuff (see above).

 Thanks again.

Hi Andre, it's in lower case and should read L P filter. It stands for 'Light Pollution' filter. It's a filter designed specificially to filter out unwanted wavelengths of light, and is really helpful in preventing a lot of the yellow light from streetlamps from creeping into long exposure images - in some cases as little as 30 seconds can start to dump a horrible yellow glow into the background of your images. Check out this link to get a fuller explanation, and also to see how they can benefit from a dark sky site, too.

HTH, regards Martyn

Ok, finally got off my butt and uploaded the pdf to my google docs.  I modified the first post to include the link (and again many thanks Leigh!).

 Here it is also:
