Double-stack PST Etalons
« on: 19:43:23, 15 May, 2008 »
While we're on the subject of ripping PSTs apart...:)
I remember someone here tried to double-stack 2 PST Etalons.
How did it work?
Is it worth looking into a bit more?

Regards,

Michael.

If you remove the rear lens on the first etalon and the front lens on the rear etalon and make a coupler to hold them together then you could double stack them. I have not done it but the optics would work out.

Cool.
For the money involved and by getting an ERF for a scope, I think this is well worth trying.

You will need to aquire or make a pon spanner. I can't get the rear lens out of mine. The retaining ring simply has two holes for the wrench.

That should say "pin spanner". Never try to type with your two year old.
