Inbetween showers managed to get the roof finished as well as cutting and mounting the castor guides/ front and back seal plates etc. Looks like it's watertight ( I hope!)
A bit of finishing off, paintwork and it should be ready for the LX200.
Not bad for 300GBP and 8 hours labour.

Well, managed to get the 12" LX200 in and roughly aligned. With the 150mm guide rings on top, the roof seal clears by about 75mm!! Just enough.
Before I could get "first light" the clouds came over and this morning thunder and lighting, heavy rain squalls definately tested my roof seals. Good news, no leaks from the roof!!!, bad news the water seeps in under the frame. Don't know how to fix that one yet. Not a flood but 3-4" of dampness around the floor/ slabs at the edges.

It's looking great, well done.

Good news, no leaks from the roof!!!, bad news the water seeps in under the frame. Don't know how to fix that one yet.

Can I suggest the liberal use of a silicone sealant. under the edges of the shed?   Also, why not build a separate slightly raised wooden floor within the shed?  You could put the tripod legs on three completely separate blocks of wood and hence isolate the floor from the tripod a bit.  If you use tanalised timber you shouldn't get any problem with rot for years.

Thanks for the comments.
The landlord won't allow me to "damage" the Patio by using Silicon sealer around the base!!!
If it really becomes a PITA I'll go for the false floor.

merlin66
looking good
i actually used s router and put a routed channel in the rails smeared in grease
this allowed a benefit of 3mm clearance using only 5x1 inch wheels again sunk into the wheel holding timber rail, works great/saves money on aluminium channels/stops spiders(grease)and is extremely quite

The 50mm x50mm frame and rails with the waterproof 6mm ply "edge" has worked very well.
Almost two years and no problems/ leaks etc......
