The higher the kinetic energy (i do remember brownian motion from school :-) the faster a particle moves and the hotter it becomes.
so the velocity of copulating cats divided by wavelength is equal to no of kittens?
the longer the wavelength the fewer fraction of a kitten is produced?
In fact it seems quite a lot of energy is needed to create a whole kitten
