DSS file format help
« on: 23:11:06, 27 November, 2011 »
I have downloaded DSS imager, and taken some photos on my DSLR camera just to get some practice at stacking and imaging. I have a Canon 450D which uses J-PEG files like most cameras I presume. However when I try to transfer downloaded images from my laptop into DSS it only allows TIFF, FITS and DSS image files in the file type dropdown menu. Can anyone help me here as I am a newbie to this and feel a little out of my depth!

Cheers, kevin54.

i Kevin, DSS does accept Jpgs, you need to select 'open light frames' or select light frames (cant remember the exact phrasing) rather than 'open file, then select Jpeg from the dropdown and it should show the jpegs in your folder for you to select
