Help trying to find T ring for Micro four thirds camera
« on: 16:40:23, 13 December, 2011 »
I have a Samsung NX10 DSLR camera which comes under the Micro four thirds category.  I want to attach it to a telescope Im getting for Christmas (Sky-Watcher Evostar-90 (EQ2)).  I really want to use it for Astrophotography but Im having trouble finding a T ring for it, the ones Ive found for Micro four thirds cover Panasonic and Olympus but not Samsung.  Can anybody help please? any info would be fantastic as Im very new to this.

Many thanks, Chester.

Hey Chester - welcome to UKAI !

I know the Micro 4/3rds isn't a mainstay in the astro imaging world so not surprised you're struggelling to find an adapter.  Have you give Bern at Modern Astronomy a call as he's generally "in the know".

Also, have you looked here ? http://www.novoflex.com/en/products/adapters/

I thought the whole point of the 4/3 system, including micro, was that mounts were interchangeable.

Hi Chester,
Give SRB-Griturn a try they seem to have adaptors for just about everything and are reasonably priced.
