M 001 - Crab Nebula
« on: 13:28:42, 31 August, 2012 »
Thought I'd start at the beginning - and since this was just peeping over the houses to the east last night I had a go at M1 Crab - this is 12 x 300s at ISO800 on EOS450D with a CLS filter using the RC 6" scope.

M1 Crab Nebula in Taurus

13th September 2012, TMB203, SXV-H9,Paramount ME 3000. 10 by 60s binned 1*1. Acquired in Maxim DL.  Guided. Simple Auto DDP in Maxim.  No processing in Photoshop except resizing.

Low crescent moon didn't interfere.  Probably would have been better with H-Alpha
