Gent's I have tried to process my images from Kelling but after 3 days & not getting any decent image from my skills I'm giving up on them.

If I do Chris they will be the individual subs for the LRGB as I cannot tell what one or more is screwing things up.

No worries, plenty of space up there.

Have you tried the SubFrameSelector script?

M101 L frames look good to me. In the RGB set it looks like a lot of the G's coincided with passing clouds. Were you aware your calibration files saved out with the rejection maps? I have found this can confuse sunsequent calibration!

M13 looks like your Polar Alignment shifted. If you use blink to step through them they are moving.

I'll have a play with combining your decent L frames with my RGB. See what drops out.

I just seperated the flat and bias calibration masters from the rejection maps and the lights then calibrate lurvly jurbly!

Err No..   I didn't know it had to.    I use the calibration script for Bias/Flats, then use the masters to calibrate the lights....

another tutorial coming on I think.

Already in the RGB Workflow one

Ive stuck my efforts back in the L folder for M101. Given the conditions, I reckon thats not too shabby. You can see the effects of the wind (natural or otherwise). It does not like to be combined with my RGB data - too much of a scale difference  >:(

Cheers Chris,

Can you elaborate a bit more on

"Were you aware your calibration files saved out with the rejection maps? I have found this can confuse sunsequent calibration!'"   What am I doing wrong on this bit ?

And "I just seperated the flat and bias calibration masters from the rejection maps and the lights then calibrate lurvly jurbly!"  how do you do this

Roger

I really dont like the BatchProcessing script as I like to do things one step at a time and do a visual check after each. Takes a little longer but when something goes wrong you can see where. I create my masters by hand (Bias subtraction for flats, image integration etc) and then calibrate the lights. If you read up on Carlos's tutorial for creating calibration masters there are a few subtle differences to how the script does it http://pixinsight.com/tutorials/master-frames/index.html. I will also run ImageIntegration a few times using different sigma parameters to maximise the S/N ratio of the end stack. Hard to do that with the Batch Script.

I just loaded your masters and closed the rejection maps before re-saving them. Makes the masters a 1/3 of the size too.
