Great presentation Ade, I liked the animation of proms.

Maybe in a few months when I can can 'get to' the sun for longer I could pick your brains on doing some anims ?

Your framing (or maybe call them combined images) of the mono opposite the colour image was a great idea, hope you don't mind if I present one of my Quark shots like that.

Si... The views through this scope was one of a number of reasons I looked at trying Solar.... Some of the views were stunning... but being lazy (less patient that you) I went the Quark route...

Yeah, the PST 90 still tips the hat for me, best views of the sun I have *ever* seen - by a long chalk! - yo-the-man Mr Metcalf, if you ever want to sell that beast you know who to call ;)

Have you boys finished ?!?!

No need to apologies Phil... if the Quark had existed when I first built it I would have taken that route too !  I have to say though (much to both of your disappointment) I can't see myself ever selling it... I've just put too much love into it and, as good as the quarks are, short of me putting one on a 150mm scope with a suitable priced ERF I can't see how I would get a better bang for my buck than I do with the PST90.  I am however looking at a CaK Quark  ;)

The one thing I do miss though is imaging the whole disk however I'm working on a solution to that which I'll hopefully have ready by Kelling (together with my bullet proof / anti-stab vest if the above posts are anything to go by  :hurt:).

Hugs
S.

The Cak Quark will work pretty well with that 90 I think - anything above F7 is good I use 102 F11

Quark with 152 and full aperture ERF is a real cracker. I wonder if that PST mod would fit on a cut down Starwave 102mm F11? The PST Etalon needs F10 right?
