If your a bit stuck as to what we are looking for here's some examples.

All these images have had the moon captured by a friend of mine  Ashley Fuggle  ( Not on here ) but has ok'd me to use them for examples.  What he's done is to cut out the image of the moon & added them to some of his "normal" daytime pictures,  Or played with them in Photoshop.

I hope this gives you some ideas

OK, my first ever attempt at AP, and my first ever entry into a photo competition...

Taken from my back garden in Wetley Rocks, near Stoke on Trent on 16 May 2013. I used a Samsung Galaxy S3. It told me it used F2.6 with an exposure of 1/50sec at ISO-125. It was taken by hand-holding the phone cam at the eye-piece. I could not get it right taking one pic at a time so I used a burst shot of 20 and picked the best of the bunch.

Telescope was a TAL-2M with a 25mm TAL Plossl (I think - it could have been a 40mm but the 25mm was more likely)

No stacking, no processing, just as it came out of the phone!
no official Peak Star Party this year, sorry!

Here's my awesome attempt on my phone!! :) if you look REALLY close you can just about make out the moon to the left. The clouds were looking really good, wish I'd taken my DSLR out with me :(

Location: Washingborough, Lincoln.
Date: 01 Nov 14
Equipment used: Samsung Galaxy S4 Panoramic Mode
Exposure details: Erm, really quick! :)
