Nice review, Chris. I haven't used CCD Autopilot, but have used CCDCommander which is similar.

Since its working well, I am not planning on switching, but have always wondered if there is a little more flexibility in CCDAP? Was there a particular reason you chose CCD Autopilot vs CCD Commander?

Colin

I had forgotten all about CCDCommander. I downloaded trials of CCD Commander, CCD Autopilot, ACP and Sequence Generator Pro. SGPro is brilliant but having to connect to the MX via Ascom seemed to defeat the object a bit. ACP is just way overkill for what I wanted and at the time, CCD Commander needed CCDSoft (and the UI reminded me too much of Maxim). CCD Autopilot just works. I have a whole target list keyed up and in any session I can just activate which suit best. It handles flips very well indeed and if you do get some cloud, it takes active steps to recover from it without the mount stepping off to go knows where.
