I recently purchased the full PinPoint mainly for plate solving, however I found it does asteroid and supernova searches too. Anyway, I processed the last 12 months of data (a lot of images!) using Visual Pinpoint and found 74 images containing potential asteroids. PinPoint provides a suitable MPC report format so I sent a report off to the MPC but have yet to hear anything back other than an automated reply accepting the submission.

I saw the article you link to Chris on Zite last night but forgot about it so thanks for the reminder :-) and I've just downloaded the app.
