International Astronomy Show IAS 2015 - Altair Astro
« on: 22:05:36, 28 September, 2015 »
Hi there, we'll be at the International Astronomy Show on 2nd – 3rd October 2015,  stand #33

Special Guests joining Altair Astro at IAS this year:

We'll be joined by Simon Metcalfe of the UK Astro Imaging Forum, who'll be available to answer general questions about astro imaging. Simon, Ade, Chris, and the rest of the UKAI Moderation Team have made UKAI a friendly relaxed place to hang out for beginners and experienced imagers. This is also a vendor-friendly forum, for which we're grateful ;) Do pop by to say hi!

Robin Glover, author of the popular SharpCap astronomy and image capture software will also be joining us on our stand. Robin will be available to answer general questions about getting the best out of SharpCap, and has kindly offered to demo current and newly developed SharpCap features. Perhaps some new features will be demonstrated at the show...

Karl Roberts, who started the new Video Astronomy Live forum www.videoastronomylive.co.uk, will also be joining us. Karl is very enthusiastic about video astronomy, and he can share knowledge about this exciting new branch of our hobby. Please do pop by if you'd like to know more. We hear Karl has permission to broadcast the show live too, so if you can't make it there, you can still see some nice gear...

OK onto the specials. Well, we'll announce more in the lead up to the show and some offers on the first day... There'll be an emphasis on packages like iOptron mounts / scopes / accessories / cameras / solar filter combos, mounting hardware combos, etc. and we'll do our best to offer you a good deal as always.

thanks!

Tickets booked and some of the talks also booked for the Saturday so i'll definitely come over and say hello. May have to leave my credit card at home though as there's a few things I'd like to buy but no money to buy them!
