M101 - From Kelling Heath Star Party 2016
« on: 19:40:55, 11 April, 2016 »
After a wet day and evening Saturday night (actually Sunday morning) was awesome but the nights are getting short and all too soon the skies started to lighten. I got some RGB for this but nowhere near enough to add to a decent lump of luminance.

First imaging session with the Innovations Foresight ONAG. Works very well but needs a decent guide star

Imaged: 10 April 2016 from Kelling Heath Star Party
Mount: EQ6 Pro
Scope: W/O FLT110
Camera: SXH816 Baader L Filter
Guided: ONAG/Lodestar X2
Exposures:23 x 360 L
Image Scale: 1.98"/pxl drizzled
Captured: SkyX

Thanks Jim. Its the deepest data I have ever got on M101 (near zenith with dark Kelling skies helps) but I am struggling to make the most of the data for some reason. I'll keep plugging away at it.
