If you fancy a bit of luxury, go and find a carpet remnant from a local carpet shop and pop the carpet over the rubber floor tiles. I seem to spend a lot of time on the floor in my obs (go on, somebody make the obvious alcohol related joke!) and the carpet makes it much nicer.

Dehumidifier won't go amiss either if you haven't got one.

The carpets not a bad idea, but what about fiber particles getting on the optics?
All ready got a dehumidifer on order  ;)

Carpet is not a good vibration suppressor but rubber is and highly recommended .

Can't say I've noticed. Can't say I've looked either. :)

Against the usual background of dust, cobwebs and pollen I'm not sure I'm worried.
