Well... small update...

I have completed moving my SBC stuff over to my new Odroid XU4... WHAT a piece of kit!
Ubuntu works flawlesslessly on it.... the Indi stuff all installed & compiled 1st time... udev rules work flawlessly to ensure all my hardware uses "English" names for the connections (/dev/gps, /dev/eq6, /dev/cem60, /dev/lakeside, etc) - even managed to figure out how to set the Baud rate on the 2 x serial devices as part of the udev rules!

Did a very quick test run the other night.... with the micro 4 port USB hub attached to it...

so... Atik 16200, Atik EFW3, Lodestar X2, Lakeside focuser, CEM60 mount all working.... I quite like the quirky focus routine in Indi... (goes in & out using lesser steps each time until it gets the focus) and the guiding gfx (left side shows tradidional guide graph, right side shows a bullseye with how good the guiding is - reminiscent of Maxpoint I used to use from Cyanogen)... all controlled via Kstars on my Windoz PC!

Packed up the test after 2 hrs as cloud stopped play - the seeing wasn't really worth imaging, but great test!

Awesome!

Sounds fantastic, Phil!  Well done!

(Also a relief - always a worry when you recommend something).

P.S.  You must be getting v close to a complete run - your criterion for dumping WINDOES?

 yeah... never recommend stuff, eh?  :embarrass:

I'll never dump windows in the obsy due to it being my "Man Cave" crontroller (Unreal Tournament, Elite, Battlefield 2 AIX, etc) but I now have alternatives....
