Saturn 1 June
« on: 15:36:46, 01 June, 2017 »
Hi folks,
First Saturn image for a while. Poor conditions so a rather poor result. Saturn is very low this apparition and that only adds to the difficulty, but the Zwo ADC did a brilliant job pulling the RGB channels back into alignment.
Using Tal 200k+Altair x3 barlow, RGB filterwheel, Zwo ADC and QHY5III 174 mono cam.
1000 frames each channel at approx 25fps.
Stacked in AS!3, sharpened in R6 and RGB composed and fettled in Gimp 2.9.
Hope for better to come.
Thanks for looking.

Here it climbs just over 6 degrees so even getting  a piece of Cassini division is a real feat.
