Hows about if Mr & Mrs & Mrs Potzy eat here ? Can do Baked Spud with almost anything - just LMK and I'llm get whatever is needed in. Then we can toddle on down to Swan for drinkies.

As long as you dont mind watching other stuff their faces.

Swan is OK too, prefer the Malthouse as they ofetn have good live music, but it would be too noisy there to chat anyway.

Sounds good m8, me and wifey can always tuck into a portion of chips if they sell em :)  Any self-respecting pub should!

If you want to go down there for a pint one night soon, LMK, we can suss the place out and book a room at the same time if we approve.

  anything you feel you ought to share with us??? :rm_moon:

I was just thinking of the swan for b&b - I wasn't ruling out eating anywhere or drinking everywhere :D

U know what David, if we could bring a few scopes along, here's what'll be waiting for us assuming clear skies (Jan 8th):

Good eh?

I would Tony, but I'm going to be at the mercy of my lift - we may just go straight ot ironbridge - it's going to be a long drive...

Sorry about the bed Andy Fordster, but we only got one spare room, unless you want the sofa ?? Bring a sleeping bag, no probs, but that's it now, no more :-)

It's no problem at all, mate! I'm happy getting a room (smelly feet + snoring = no fun for other housedwellers  )

Of course, if the fine malts are a flowing I may not have any choice :D

Save the sofa for emergencies...

If I'm carring it, I'll bring the 80ED and GP-DX (same footprint as an EQ-5 (ish)).  If we don't get to set it up (or If I get the train) no problemo...

Also, lift offer still stands...

I'll let you know very soon Andy - no point in you going out of your way if I can get a lift locally (I'll find out definitely within a week or so).  There'll be no space for an 8" newt and a heq5 though.  Got to say, finishing off with a few fine malts is appealing ;)  Dunno if I'd want to go anywhere near my scope by that point though... (though I did once get it out after 8 pints - couldn't point at at the pub 50 ft from my back wall let alone anything in the sky)

Cheers :D

See updated 1st post 8 Dec, call for final list of names of attendees.

Will call the Swan and see if I can book a table for us in a corner somewhere quiet.

I am in for the 8th and I am bringing 'arecibo' on the sphinx if there is a place at 'Kelling Heath junior high'  Don't need digs, I will be staying over with family nearby.

I will let the person wearing the most ridiculous christmas jumper/present use the scope to take a few shots using their own camera(s) or use my incoming Watec on the target of their choice if they would like; or the person that buys the most expensive round of malts :D

If it is cloudy we can play with each others 'kit' okay?

Get those livers warmed up over Christmas
