I bought a new scope today.... and the sky is completely clear!  Got an image run going on the ring nebula right now!

Vixen VC200L.  8" mak.  I wanted an increase in focal length, this gives me 1900mm rather than the 900 of my newt.

It's a nice scope which I sometimes have considered buying.
But there's these strong diffraction spikes because of thick spider vanes.
I know some who have even sanded them to make them thinner.
And actually it's a modified case grain.
