Is it to much for my lap top

Good morning every one i was imageing last night testing my new camera i was useing phd 2 guideing on my laptop and sg pro i lost 6 out of 8 15 minute subs because they drifted my lap top is 4 years old its not a super fast one i was wandering  if it was i had tomuch things going for my laptop to cope would it cause the stars to drift a bit under the straine is that posable i dont know

Clive just because your laptop is 4 years old should not be a reason to suspect the laptop straight away. It is more likely your polar alignment is off or perhaps a setting in PHD needs adjusting or your mount may not be balanced correctly etc etc. Check your polar alignment and scope balance would be where I would start. Defo not the laptop,

I use one @ Kelling heath that's over 4 years old,  & know someone who uses a desktop that have no processing power.

Scopes - TS65q, W/O 110 Triplet
Mount - EQ6 PRO via  Eqmod,  Rowan belt modded
