DVD Review - Damian Peach Modern Guide
« on: 16:45:24, 12 January, 2008 »
Just gone through this, and to be honest i liked it more than I wanted to..

Shot in a very "amateur way" (i.e Damian sitting on a sofa, chatting) the informal style of this DVD is something which really appeals. Far from coming across as arrogant, Damian actually does try to convey in a very meaningful way, all of the ins and outs of equipment, scope setup, cooling, collimation. For me the best part was on "seeing", very interesting and informative.

Shot and produced by Robin Scagell, this is one which for anyone interested in Planetary imaging, is a good watch. For experienced users, maybe nothing too "off tangent" (though some useful tips on Registax use!), but still, a worthy addition to the arsenal of useful data/books.

Nice one Damian..pleasantly surprised
