Monkey see, monkey do
« on: 15:42:53, 17 December, 2017 »
After seeing Pete's excellent Monkey nebula http://ukastroimaging.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=66335.0 i thought i'd give my new purchase a go on the same target...................i bought a 127mm triplet  8)
I had a night of gremlins which turned out to be a USB hub playing funny beggers so i lost quite a few frames (i reckon 8  :duh: )

NGC2175
12 x 900s Ha
8 x 900s Oiii
7 x 900s Sii
127mm triplet
SBIG STF8300m

Processed in Pixinght to Hubble pallete

Cheers

Very nice, Mark, and thanks for the comment on my image.  Being quite bright with lots of variation a very rewarding subject. I wish I'd imaged it years ago!

Cheers,

Peter.
