« on: 14:59:33, 04 February, 2018 »
Took a chance on this one with it being a Supermoon, but did shortish subs and it was quite a way from the Moon, so I think I got away with it.

10 x 3min Luminance
12 x 90secs binned RED
10 x 90 secs binned GREEN
9 x 90 secs Binned BLUE
Skywatcher 130PDS & Atik314L Baader coma corrector, HEQ5

Total 1 hour 16.5 mins
My first attempt at this target after 8 years of imaging !!!

Yea i agree nice star colours  i did the double cluster 4 years ago but my star colours were white  what light pollution filter are you useing the one im useing is a lumicon deep sky light pollution filter  and a modded canon 6d       ill laft to do some searching may be to look at another pollution filter that will give better star colours
       Very nice cluster

That was my problem until recently years and years of it, which was one of the reasons I never did this target before.  But just at the point of Mark Shelley releasing the Arcsinh method of retaining star colour in both PX and PS I cracked it in PS anyway.  I have found the secret is only to stretch in small iterations and then increase the colour in image adjust/match colour.  Stretch a little more then do it again.  If it massively increases the nebulosity colour then I select the stars and do them separately.
