Gravity Solar 2018 pics
« on: 20:04:27, 09 July, 2018 »
Had a great time at the Gravity Solar event with the guys from UKAI, I didn't do any imaging myself as I don't have any imaging kit any longer, but the sun was beautiful through the little PST and the views through Simons PST90 were outstanding as usual, and I observed through various lunts and quarks etc throughout the weekend, and enjoyed myself tremendously, so thanks to all who showed up and took part in the weekend.

I don't have any solar imagery to show, just a bunch of pics of folk enjoying themselves, but I'm sure the imagers will populate this thread or the solar board with their results

Thanks for the memories
Ade

Thanks Paul, we had a great time, although it was a bit hot, we were struggling to find shade between imaging/observing the sun, but the late evening BBQ's and the fire pit in the evenings, great company and a local pub made the heat tolerable - you should come along to the next event!

... and BBQ Rog... aka "THE BBQ King" was an outstanding Chef - thx Rog.

The views through that 152mm of Jupiter & Saturn (YES! We did some night viewing too!) were STUNNING.

Great company, great food & beer.... and a LOAD of Kites for the boys to image... very eerie to hear too!

Thanks fellas - looking fwd to next year already
